2. Community MobilisationMobilising communities to select and implement particular service options is central to ensuring successful outcomes. But achieving effective mobilisation is not easy. Many impediments exist at a local level including the challenge of mobilising often fractionalised communities. One approach is to present case studies of past interventions to communities and how households have benefited. This section looks in detail at the process of selection, CBO formation and mobilisation, and how case studies can help community mobilisation. Whilst drawing on the experience of work in India and Sri Lanka it also takes examples from Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. attachmentsBacklinks:
