Mobilisation of Community Contribution
In practice, the entire community collection is usually done in one shot, and after the Detailed Scheme Report (DSR) received Technical Sanction – so that the actual amount of money represented by ‘10% contribution’ is clear. There are, however, several issues that come up in community contribution, that have been addressed in various ways by implementers in different parts of the country. Some of these are given below:

Unresolved issue: Within the Swajaldhara guidelines there are no provisions yet to include new comers in the community into the village water supply scheme.
